V2 Cigs Review – V2 Cigs is a brand of electronic cigarettes that has taken the e cig world by storm ever since it launched.     I just received my V2Cigs starter kit yesterday. I’ve been smoking traditional cigarettes for about 12 years now. V2Cigs is so much like smoking a real cigarette I don’t think I’ll ever go back! I love that it doesn’t have all the chemicals associated with traditional cigarettes. I think I’ll try some of the flavors next! Anyone have a favorite flavor?

    I have been smoking V2CIGS for a few months now and have been really happy with the product. Like some other comments here I had tried other brands first and was not happy with the product and service. I have tried blu and thought is was horrible. It kept getting juice in my mouth. I had a V4L and the product was pretty good but I could not even get someone on the phone or even to respond to an email for service. I’m sticking with V2 CIGS !

    I bought 2 starter kits along with other various pieces from ehealth less than a month ago. Nothing works now. I’m looking to purchase the v2 ultimate kit as soon as there is a discount offered. Don’t know much about the ecig but it satisfies me and I’ve been smoking for 50 years.

    I’ve been using another brand of an electronic cigarette that has kiosks at the malls. I’ve been “smoke” free for 12 days now and I love it! They claim that “other” brands use nickle in the cartridges that can over heat and melt in return can inhale! What set V2 apart from other brands? I got a very good quality brand, but am interested in what V2 has to offer.

    I purchased a couples kit from V2 Cigs. Shipment was not received until a month after I ordered. I still have not received full order and was sent the wrong cartridges, therefore I have not had the chance to try any flavors. I am happy with the product. I have not smoked since received. However, I can not get any customer service. When I called regarding part of shipment still not received and tried to order cartridges I was told most flavors were out of stock. I tried calling several times during posted business hours so I can be assured that what I need to order is in stock because I can not wait a month+ for cartridges to arrive or I will surely resort back to smoking. Overall product works, but if I can get the product then it is useless.

The impressive thing about V2 is how quickly they have captured a large portion of the market. Their product offering has many of the same qualities as other brands we’ve reviewed but they also have some unique feature such as their manual batteries where you press a button to turn it on instead of it being on all the time. They seem to be keen on batteries as well since they’ve recently tested and upgraded their batteries for long life and better vapor production. They also offer a Smoke for Free program which allows you to refer friends and family to receive generous discounts on your future purchases. They really do pride themselves on customer loyalty and support. Because they’ve grown so quickly they have been working hard to keep up with demand and customer service.     Hi Lorelei,

    I am not sure of their “claim” that some brands use nickel in the cartridges. Our V2 Cigs cartridges simply produce less and less vapor as they are depleted of the fluid — which consists of PG (propylene glycol), flavor, and (pharmaceutical-grade) nicotine. I suppose if you were to keep using the cartridge even after there is no vapor production you run the risk of “burning” the mesh that holds the fluid, but that would be a risk that all e-cigs run. I would think that would be akin to smoking the filter of a standard cigarette. We do not know what other brand you are using and why they would make that claim, other than to try and make their product look superior to all others. I can assure you, we do NOT use nickel in our V2 Cigs cartridges.

    V2 is quite different from other brands for a multitude of reasons:

    • 1st, our batteries for the mini-cig line are one of the strongest on the market rated at a 4.2 volt (lithium-ion) so it will produce more vapor than many of the batteries that are rated at the 3.7-3.8v. It also means that our batteries will last a little longer because they carry a higher voltage.

    • 2nd, we also warranty our products (hardware/electronics) for a full year from the purchase date, and we also feature a 30-day money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied in anyway.

    • 3rd, our customer service is cutting-edge, and we can be reach through a web-based chat, message system & email, and by phone.

    I want to apologize for your experience with shipping delays, and can assure you that our customer service is working diligently to address any outstanding or incorrect orders. We at V2 Cigs have been growing literally at astronomical rates. We are working very hard to maintain enough stock for the growth that we have been experiencing. We are very readily available for chat and through our website message system if you are having trouble reaching us on the phone. Also, there are other brands that are compatible with our battery – however, those companies also experience stock issues. The cartridges becoming back-ordered seems to be a wide-spread problem, as the industry itself is expanding so quickly. People are realizing there is no longer a need to smoke traditional cigs and that choosing the vapor option is actually quite comparable to ‘analog’ cigs.

    I am glad that the product is working for you and I recommend ordering more cartridges rather than fewer for a couple reasons:

    • First and foremost, this ensures that you always have plenty on hand (which reduces the need to go out and buy cigarettes).

    • Second, you pay less for shipping (eliminates the need for multiple orders).

    • Third, cartridges last ~6 months, so you don’t need to worry about them drying up right away. You can also always throw them in the freezer to keep them fresher for longer – as long as you let them thaw completely so that the liquid is no longer gelatinous from the cold temperature.

    • Further, if you want we also have blank cartridges available that you can also order in the 40-pack, so you can save some costs in shipment and cartridge fees. It is not available on the website but you can just place it as a regular order and in the notes just put that you would like blanks. Then you could find a liquid that suits your needs to ensure you don’t run out of your prefilled cartridges.

    • Finally, we are expecting a couple of huge shipments from our factory throughout this month so we can stay ahead of these problems in the future.

    I ordered the couples kit after my husband and I did some research on which ecig was best. We have been smokers for about 10 years. I had a good experience with customer service over the phone when i needed help placing my order. I received a messege yesterday that our flavors are out of stock and we will have to wait a week to get our kit, although irritated I was happy that they offered a $20 credit. I cant wait to get my kit, I am so ready to leave traditional cigarettes and start smoking my v2. I saw a comment that someone had to wait a month for their product and then the order was wrong…I have high hopes for the product so I hope my experience is good.

    After smoking for25 years, I quit cold turkey because I had surgery and I had to. After a month I didn’t miss the nicotine anymore but I missed the actions of smoking. Holding it in my hand, inhaling and blowing out the smoke. Then I found V2. The answer to my prayers. I didn’t want to go back to smoking after quiting for over a month already.(longest ever for me) I bought the ultimate kit to share with my husband because he also quit with me. We got the zero 0mg in menthol flavor and I have to say that it was exactly what i needed. I didn’t and still don’t need the nicotine. I missed the action of smoking like when I’m reading or driving and now with V2 I have that back without the harmful toxins of cigarettes of even nicotine. Thank you V2. I have also tried some of the flavor cartridges and i enjoy them as well as a treat. I would recommend V2 to anyone that smokes and is ready to quit or even if they aren’t ready to quit. Ecigs are safer for the smoker and the non-smokers. I would give this product 5 out of 5 stars.

    Hello I posted earlier with delayed shipping concerns. We ordered the couples kit on Oct.14, 2010, it is now Nov.1, 2010 and our order status is still “awaiting fullfillment. I am beginning to grow concerned that our order will not be filled. We really want to try this product and not lose faith in it however without an update what can I do. I am going to call customer service and see if I can get some information. I am also concerned that our 30 day money back guarantee will expire before we ever get our V2 cigs. If you have any insight please let me know. Once again we are still exicted about this product and are trying to keep the faith.

    Hi, I too like Emma above placed a second order for refill cartridges and two more batteries. My order was placed on Oct. 20th and is still awaiting fulfillment. I have IM’d customer service and get a different story every time. I have resorted back to smoking conventional cigs because of this delay. A couple posts back “admin” said quote:

    I too really wanted to try V2…ordered a kit on Oct.16 and was told at that time that everything was IN STOCK, my order would be shipped on Monday Oct. 18th and I would get it on Weds. Oct 20, because I opted to pay 14.88 for two-day delivery. Well, I still have NOT gotten my order…they have serious issues. Kept telling me when I contacted Customer service my order would ship in a day or two. When I found out on Oct.29 that they had already charged my credit card, and shipped NOTHING, I cancelled my order. I am extremely disappointed in V2!!!

    I wanted to address any concerns that people may have regarding shipping issues and any back-orders. It is true that we received major shipments of inventory in the past two weeks, and we have been shipping out massive orders since our inventory arrived; consequently, there is a good chance that most back-orders being mentioned are already en route. These back orders were fulfilled as top priority before newer orders, but we have been shipping and fulfilling 24/7 since the inventory arrived.

    Additionally, we have implemented a new company policy whereby Cartomizer orders receive priority over new kit orders for the following reasons: if a customer has already purchased a V2 Cigs kit, and then needs to re-order additional cartridges, it does not seem fair to our existing customers that they be forced to wait for a new customer’s kit order to be fulfilled. We believe that our products are a useful means to assist people in quitting smoking, and if they have already taken the first steps to quit by ordering a kit and are simply unable to purchase more cartomizers due to back-orders, then they will be more likely to resort to smoking conventional cigarettes. Obviously, this is a situation that we wish to avoid!

    In response to Emma:
    Due to this new policy, had you only ordered refill cartridges (and not 2 additional batteries), your order would have likely been processed more expediently. Therefore, this is something to keep in mind for future orders, and I would recommend ordering cartomizers separately to speed up the order fulfillment & shipping process.

    I cannot account for anything our customer service representatives have told you via telephone or chat, as I am not familiar with the particular details of the aforementioned orders. I would be happy to look into the matter personally, look up the Order #s, and address any concerns accordingly. As a company, we take our customer experience very seriously, and we welcome the opportunity to resolve any outstanding issues that may arise.

    What I can tell you is that the fundamental “problem” behind any back-order situation we have faced is due to the sheer amount of order volume. This should be a testament to the fact that our product DOES work, IS helping people, and the demand for V2 Cigs is so great that we have been growing at an exponential rate. We offer a high-quality product and we do not sacrifice our quality to generate new sales.     Ultimately, I just want to reiterate the fact that we want ALL of our V2 Cigs customers to benefit from our products, and we are working tirelessly to mitigate any back-order situations. But more importantly, we don’t just want to make a “quick buck” off of them, but we want them to continue to be satisfied with their V2 experience, and become repeat customers and recommend our products to others. We have taken our existing customers’ experience into consideration with the implementation of our new shipping and fulfillment policy. The bottom line is, we want to see our customers happy, and enjoying their V2s everywhere… :)

    V2cigs has Terrible Customer service!!!! i purchased after being reffered by a friend. i paid for 2 day shipping and after 2 days i called them only to find out they didnt ship out yet. i was very upset and cancelled my order all together. the guy who reffered me to v2cigs is still waiting for his refills after 7+ days. he actually had to smoke real cigarettes to get him by untill V2cigs decided to ship. Bad Bad Bad customer service!!!! will go with another E-cig

    I just ordered the ultimate kit, I have tried several brands and have been disappointed with the products. I just found out today that they do not have the cowboy high in stock and that they expect a stock order in the next two weeks. I also thought I would have my product within a few days, now it looks like weeks. The want me to call them back next week and check if the order has come in yet. After reading all the comments I don’t have faith in this company. I think I will call them tomorrow and cancel. If I get off cigarettes and start smoking again because of low inventory that is a HUGE problem. I’m sure there are other brands out there that are just as good, without the inventory problem.

    Mary, have you tried Blu cigs? They have the best taste as far as I am concerned…they take a little playing with, the battery life is not too good. However, their customer service is OUTSTANDING! Tells you right on the BLU site what is not in stock……no waiting around for deliveries…they deliver the product with no problems!

    Thank you for your comment. We’ve noticed that many comments lately for V2 Cigs have been about delays in orders. This is one of the unfortunate occurrences we’ve seen with other e cig brands as they grow. You see V2 Cigs has grown so quickly that they weren’t prepared for the success they are seeing. We’ve seen this most recently with Blu Cigs. I actually recall at times where Blu removed the purchase button on certain products for weeks at a time because they couldn’t keep up with demand. If you really do think V2 Cigs is right for you we suggest you keep your order. You may want to try a different brand while you wait for your V2 Ultimate kit to arrive. Please consider checking out some of the other brands we’ve reviewed and try one of those. Blu is similar to V2 and Smoke Tip and South Beach Smoke are comparable.

    One thing I’d suggest for all e cig users is to always consider purchasing a month or so supply of cartomizers or atomizers (depending on the e cig you use) so you don’t need to worry about stock and shipping issues in the future. E cigarettes are new and a quickly growing industry. V2 as well as other brands do try to anticipate growth but sometimes in situations like this no matter how hard they try they just can’t keep up with demand.

    We contacted V2 about the issues they are having and they seem to be doing everything they can to expand their manufacturing facility and warehouse as well as hiring more staff to keep up with demand. This sounds very similar to what we heard when Blu was going through these issues and Blu is very strong now. I can’t recall them having any shipping issues in the recent past. I expect that will be the same case over the next few months with V2 Cigs. I’m sure this information doesn’t help any one that is waiting for their order from V2 Cigs but we here at CigaretteReviews.org try to provide as much information as we can to help all e cigarette users know what is going on with each brand and help users when they have issues. We hope we are doing this and helping you all make the right decision on the electronic cigarette brand you choose.

    It looks like V2 lied about their stock level. Everytime I order it seems to take forever. I have 2 orders waiting fullfillment. I ordered menthol cartridges and was told today that they could ship peppermint instead. This is very bad business. The least they could do is put on their website that things are out of stock instead of taking orders for things they dont have. The product is not great but it is better than 3 others I have tried but V2 is seriously alienating customers with this practice.

    No Sharon I ended up cancelling the order. It seems only Stephanie was the only one that could tell me the truth about the backorder situation. She is great and very friendly.
    I got a full refund in just one day.
    The only problem I’m having now is that I sent my starter kit back also for a refund on 11/03 and they received it on 11/04, but I still have not gotten my refund for that. I ordered it on 10/11 so I had until 11/10 to get a refund for it. I have a tracking number that shows delivery to them like I said on 11/04…I wrote them early this morning…but no response yet.

    I have heard great things about v2 and even tried a friends and that is what sent me to order it. I am a little concerned because I ordered it over 2 weeks ago and cannot get anyone to even give me a estimate of when the order will be fulfilled. Although I did recieve a $16 dollar credit which I appreciate, finding out if the order will be here next week, next month or next year would be helpfull :) Stephanie is who I am dealing with also she is very nice, but I just want a date.

    Thank you for your post. It seems that V2 Cigs is trying hard to get orders out to customers. They are going through some growing pains but do provide a quality product so it will be worth the wait. They offer a product they call a power cig as well. Check out our post about the V2 Power Cigs. We suggest purchasing one of these to use while at work or at home when you have access to a usb port or power outlet. The power cigs are not battery operated. This doesn’t provide an answer for when you will receive your order but may provide an alternative while you wait.

    Yes, I did get refunds for both products I ordered from V2 (starter kit and extra batteries and cartridges).

    I also have found a new site thanks to Stephanie at V2 called http:www.vapor4life.com

    I have ordered twice from them now and have received my orders within two business days…also am more impressed with their cartridges and ejuice vapor selection. They have everything in stock when I order. They use a “live” inventory system on their website so you know what is in stock or out. Superior company in my opinion.

    I’ve only been vaping for a month now, but have learned a few things very quickly. First of all you shouldn’t be selling a product if you can’t deliver (sorry V2).
    Secondly I recommend buying the juice and blank cartridges and filling them yourself. I was a little reluctant cause I thought it was gonna be a big mess, but it’s really simple and easy especially if you get the carts with the soft rubber top, it comes out very easily and you just put about 15 or so drops of juice in holding the cart at an angle and turn it as you fill so it doesn’t drip down the hole in the center, pop the top back on and your back in business.
    The “condom” method also works very well to fill empty carts but you do waste a bit of the juice that is left in the bottom. You can do a search on google or wherever you prefer and find a lot of videos on filling carts.
    Anyway, the vapor tastes much cleaner and fresher than the pre-filled carts….just a thought to keep in mind.

    I like V2 but from now on before I order anything from them I will call first to insure they have it. The other brands I tried were lousy but at least they shipped fast and the product was delivered within 3 days. AND TO JEFF: VAPOR4LIFE WAS THE FIRST ONE I USED AND TRUST ME IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY: If anyone does order from V2 I suggest you get the manual battery. It is much better than the automatic.

    I ordered my starter kit yesterday before reading about all the back order and shipping issues customers have reported. I’m really excited to try the V2, but hope I don’t have to wait a month or more to even get it. I find it quite rediculous they’re having such a hard time filling orders. I understand they are expanding and have an overflow of orders, but it seems very unprofessional to me to have this big of a problem. I am a warehouse and inventory control manager for a fufillment department. We are also a small company that has dramatically grown and we have NEVER had problems this bad. Seems to me like they should take another look at who is supposed to be in charge of the inventory, purchasing, and the filling of orders. If I haven’t received my kit in two weeks I’m going to cancel my order. If something is on back order then the website should state that and the customer should be informed. Its plain and simple good business and good customer service.

    I say that because it was the first brand i tried. None of the cartridges last as long as these companies claim, but V4L was very bad, second only to Blu. V4L did not work at all. I threw the whole get up in the trash. The cartridges gave very little vapor and did not taste good. Blu was like sucking on air and the batteries are no good. Their cartridge design is atrocious and it also went into the trash. SmokeTip ships very fast but the cartidges seem to be dry and the batteries are among the worst. In one month I returned 4 batteries. I will stick with V2 but only if they fix their inventory problem. I have not seen any savings compared to regular cigs because I have had to buy so many cartridges and have tried so many brands to find one that really works. AND AMEN TO KATE!

    Okay so I just wanted to update a little. I called customer service to check and see if anything I ordered was on back order and if it was could I then switch it out with something that’s in stock. Plus I wanted to change quite a bit of things on my order itself. The gentleman I spoke with was very nice, very helpful, and was happy to help me with anything I needed. What puzzled me though was he told me they go through so much product in a 24 – 48 hour period that it was impossible to tell me if anything I ordered was in fact on back order. I was also told that if my order didn’t ship in 72 hours then call again to check if something is on back order. Why is it that today it was impossible to tell but in 72 hours if I call back they can tell me? Seems like it would be easier when I was already on the phone with them. Now I admit that I could be nit-picking because I myself work in a similar environment but I don’t understand why I couldn’t have just been told today instead of the hassle of calling back, potentially having to change my order, and further delaying the product. So that’s my two cents for now. l will update again after I receive my V2 with my review of how well it actually works. A lot of people say its worth the wait so I shall see :)

    Here’s another update…after reading the post from V2 about how much inventory they now have and how they were filling orders quickly I did a Live Chat with Stephanie last night before attempting to place an order. Bottom line is this: Even if you pay for 2-day shipping, your order will not be proccessed for 48-72 hours and they have no Vanilla or Cowboy carts!
    So, what kind of improved Customer Service is that?????

    So I have posted on here before over concerns of shipping delays, although everyone has been really nice it has now been OVER A MONTH that I placed my order, and still no product. Tell me what to do V2? How much longer is a reasonable? One of the reasons I decided to go with ecigs is to save money but now I have spent over $170 on something that is “awaiting fullfilmemt” and I am still having to buy traditonal cigarettes. I would like a representative to put themselves in my shoes and give me their honest opinion on if or how much longer I should wait for my kit.

    Well first of all I am not out to bash anyone or any company…

    I only recommended V4L because of the speed of shipment. V2 was my first ecig and I got a bad battery with my starter kit, yes they did replace it but I had to pay for the return shipping of the bad battery which I only had less than 24 hours which I don’t think is right. Why should the customer have to pay to return a defective product? Then they started having their backorder problems and I couldn’t get anything.

    Anyway, I have also received a defective battery from V4L which they replaced, but I have to pay to send the bad one back so I guess the companies are all the same.
    As far as cartridges go the only reason I like V4L is because I smoke menthol and I like their Dunhill flavor because they have tobacco flavor mixed in where V2 only tasted like mouthwash…only mint flavor no tobacco. I also didn’t find V2′s carts to last longer, that is why I recommended above to fill your own as it is cheaper than the $10.00 a pop for five carts that most companies charge and I have even received prefilled carts that are bone dry or the atomizer doesn’t work from both companies. $12.95 for a 30ml bottle of ejuice which will fill approx 60 cartridges is by far the better deal if you do the math.

    It is all a matter of personal preference and quite frankly, I too like Eric have not seen any real savings because of having to switch around to find something you like. AND to be honest I still am smoking analog cigs because I don’t find ANY of the ecigs to completely satisfy a hardcore smoker such as myself…though I have cut down to about a 1/2 pack give or take compared to the almost two packs a day I was smoking so for me there is no real savings actually more expense because I am still buying both.

    Again, I guess it all depends on the individual.

You may not be saving money testing out the different products but hopefully you are experiencing a cleaner, chemical free alternative to traditional cigarettes. I’m not saying e cigarettes are healthy but they do contain less chemicals then your traditional cigarettes. Also, once you do find the right fit for you the costs will come down and in the long run you will spend less. Great to hear you are down to 1/2 a pack of traditional cigarettes! It’s hard to wean yourself off traditional cigarettes but it sounds like you are certainly heading in the right direction! You mentioned that you’ve not found an e cig that works well enough to get you off traditional cigarettes completely. Have you checked out the Power Cig by V2? We recently did an article on a Halloween offer V2 was doing and included information about the V2 Power Cigs. We’ve yet to test them but it is a 5.1 volt device and V2 claims it provides even more smoke volume then the V2 manual bats. The V2 Power Cig requires a power source but only costs $29.95. It’s great to use when you are at home or at work where you have either a power outlet or an available usb port on your computer. I bet this is not one of the items affected by the shipping issues V2 is having but you may want to ask if you choose to purchase one just in case. Considering you fill your own carts all you’d need is the actual power cig. It might be worth it to try out. Or wait until we do a video review. :-) I know you’ve spent a lot testing out different brands but hope our reviews helped some when it came to your decision. If there are any brands you’d like reviewed or anything else we can do to help please let us know.

    I’d like to get off the order processing discussion for a moment and just give my take on the e-cig itself. First of all, I love the experience of smoking the V2cig. I have been a pack a day Marlboro 100 smoker for nearly twenty five years, and I find the V2cig very, very satisfying. No, it is not exactly the same as smoking an analog cigarette. Yes, recharging the battery can make for a tough wait. Yes, I have supplemented v2cig (borrowed a battery and cartomizer from a friend; still awaiting an order placed on Nov. 9 2010). Here are a couple things I’ve noticed about the cigs themselves: First off, the Cowboy and Congress cartridges tend to produce kind of a funky taste about midway through the cartomizer’s lifespan. Contrary to V2′s claims, the cigarettes are not completely odorless, as there is a smell from the exhale. This odor is not strong, nor is it unpleasant in any way. Aother thing I’ve noticed is that it is very easy to push the rubber end of the cartomizer down into the body of the cart; this can be fixed with the tip of a safety pin and a little wiggling, but once the rubber tip is pushed down, the edge of the cartomizer housing is uncomfortable against the lips. Third, I do not quite get the opinion that the manual batteries are somehow better than the automatic batteries. My friend owns one of each, and I didn’t find the automatic to give fewer puffs than the manual….Your mileage will vary depending upon your smoking style, depth of inhale, etc. Guys, I vaped a V2 in the boarding lounge at ATL airport yesterday, even sneaked a few while on the plane itself! The e-cig is convenient, very clean, safer and satisfying. I don’t care if I have to wait a month; the wait is worth it, their prices are good, and I intend to order more cartomizers today (even though I haven’t yet received my couple’s kit), just to make sure that I have them in time for Christmas. I think we’ve all gotten a little spoiled with the traditionally fast fulfillment of Internet orders; doesn’t anybody remember mail order and “allow 6-8 weeks for delivery?” Be patinet; you’ll get your kits and carts. Just MHO

    Oops. I just realized that something I wrote above is unclear. I have supplemented my V2 cig by continuing to smoke analog cigs; I smoke many fewer analogs when I have the V2 cig in hand. Another thing I forgot to mention is that my contacts with Customer Service (in the person of one Miguel) have been excellent. Hey V2cigs! Once you all get your shipping/fulfillment acts together, I think you and I are going to have a wonderful relationship! P.S. Any plans for THC cartomizers? Chuckle.

    I think the people at V2 just says anything to pacify people. I spoke with someone over a week ago about a defective battery that is less than a month old and was told that I would be sent a new one, after not hearing anything for a week, I spoke with Stephanie and was told that the short manual battery was out of stock but the long ones were AWESOME! She said was training a new person in shipping the next day and she promised that she would ship me 2 long batteries at that time. Well today I spoke with Mike and was told they would ship in 24 to 48 hours, shipping has been very bad, yadda, yadda, yadda….80 percent of our orders go out in 24 to 48 hours he said, to which I replied, 100 percent of mine have not! I think I am done with V2. I dont like to spend money and be mislead. ITS JUST NOT RIGHT!!! As for JEFF, to bad you still have to smoke reg cigs, Im sorry, but I can say that I have not had a real cig since April so I guess some good has come out of this for me.

    I have been wanting to quit traditional smoking for awhile now with no success. My daughter purchased an ecig from the local mall..Nuvo cig to be exact. Although i wasn’t thrilled with the size of the ecig, as it is quite fat and long, i was impressed with the value and vapor. Starter packs are just 24.99 and come in a pack that plugs right into an outlet. Because these cigs are made in china, i decided to search online for something made in the usa seeing I would be inhaling this substance into my lungs. I came across blue cigs and figured this was a good choice. After receiving them, I am sending them back. This product did not live up to its expectations. Even though u get alot of bang for your buck, they are very inconsistent, and i believe the batteries are defective as i fully charged my pack last night and this morning its telling me to recharge. I don’t know what the issue is but i’m not gonna have them resend as i don’t want to wait another 10 days only to have to send them back again. Its to bad because the taste of the low reg tobacco is pretty good, but with them dying constantly and no vapor..what good r they?

    I am now ordering v2cigs. I am going with the starter pack. I haven’t come across any terrible reviews as far as the actual product so i’m hoping this will be the last stop for me as far as giving up traditional cigs. Review of the product will follow upon its arrival. Hopefully i receive it in a timely manner.

Spoke to customer service, and they have no idea when my order will be filled as they are “under staffed”. I am suppose to wait until next week and call back if I still have not received a confirmation email. Not a happy customer at this point.

Even if I do get my order, and then like the product, by the time I reorder cartridges and get those, I will be back to smoking regular cigarettes! I did research for weeks and really thought I had picked a good company. Really disappointed.

    LOL, last week I got an email saying that my replacement battery and charger was shipped out on 11/16 ( I never ordered a charger and needless to say I have not received it}. A few days later I get another email saying that one replacement battery was shipped on the 19th. I got it today. And today I get an email saying that my 2 replacement batteries shipped out today. This V2 situation is laughable but hardly funny. I wont be using them again and its sad because I really do like the product but they are NOT the only ham sandwich in hungry town.

    I ordered my v2cig starter kit on November 9th. I have talked to customer service via live chat twice now and each time they promised it would be shipping in the next few days. Obviously it didn’t. My order is still “awaiting fulfillment”. This ecig gets rave reviews but it is very disheartening not to get the product. I have had to buy two cartons of regular cigs since ordering. Please hurry V2! I wanted to try this product and if I liked it I was going to get it for a couple smokers I know for Christmas. This I now know won’t happen. Even if I get my order this coming week and reorder for them immediately, they will never get it out by Christmas.

    I ordered from V2Cig on November 15th and received the product on December 4th. When someone is getting ready to quit smoking that window of opportunity is open and a company needs to fulfill quickly or lose. What irked me more than the delay in fulfillment of my order was that they charged my credit card within hours of receiving said order…that’s bad business. When I called them on it (I was on hold for 11 minutes) saying they had charged me 2 weeks prior they said it was for my own safety, so that they did not store my data. Sorry, but in this electronic age that just doesn’t fly. What all this tells me is that the company is not financially sound enough to finance their own purchasing and relies on customers to finance it for them, what is known as ‘kiting’ in the legal lexicon. I also noted that right here on this board V2cig said on November 11th they had received a “massive shipment” which apparently wasn’t massive enough since I ordered 4 days later and still had to wait 2.5 weeks to get my kit (albeit with missing, back ordered components).

    So yeah, I’m going try it for the first time on the way home from work today, and I still hope it works for me, but thus far I am unimpressed. This would have to be a pretty amazing product to put up with this level of unprofessionalism. I hope this company gets its legs under it soon.

    I have ordered from these guy’s 20 days ago and have just now received notice that my order is ready to ship. Its not shipped it ready to ship… This is unacceptable shipping practice. I am very dissappionted and will NOT do business here (V2cigs.com) again. I won’t be stupid enough to buy from them again…buyer beware

    V2 STILL can’t tell the truth….decided to give them ANOTHER shot on Nov.26. Placed an order for an Ultimate Kit ONLY AFTER chatting LIVE with Stephanie and was assured by her that everything I wanted was IN STOCK.
    Dec.2 I get an e-mail saying that Auto Adapter, Power Cig and Portable Charging Case are all on BACKORDER!!!!!!!
    Yesterday I received HALF of the Ultimate Kit and my 25 cartomizers….the V2 does produce good vapor, BUT the Cowboy and Coffee are the WORST tasting things I have tried! The labeled Coffee does not have one iota of coffee flavor….it tastes like watered down chocolate…both flavors disgusting.
    It’s over for me with V2….packing my HALF Ultimate kit and the nasty cartos up and sending it all back…

    Okay, so I’ve been giving the product a trial run and have found that the first couple of tokes are great, and then vapor production weakens. Both the short manual and the long automatic batteries when fully charged last only about 2 cigarettes worth of smoking. I am a relatively light smoker, usually about 6 or 7 a day, so this should not be asking too much of the product, but I haven’t gotten to work and back using both batteries (40 minutes each way). The USB ecig works great and for me is the only satisfactory product in the starter kit. The cartridges taste fine, but I do find that my tongue gets dry and I get a mildly unpleasant aftertaste, but this may turn out to be the case with any ecig, I have no other experience to say that this aspect is unique to V2. I haven’t yet decided what to do, maybe keep trying through this weekend, give it a fair shake and then make a decision, but I am not exactly overwhelmed.

    They all say their cartidges last as long as 1-2 packs of cigs but its just not true. If you decide to keep your kit I suggest you get your cartridges from Smoketip. They are all about the same but smoketip is cheaper than V2 and you get 10 as opposed to 5. Also you should get liquid from Halo and refill them to last longer. I wanted to order the pass-thru manual battery from V2 but i will not order ANYTHING from them again. Good luck.

    Well, the good news is I’ve quit smoking analogs…can’t stand the taste anymore and have fully adapted to vaping. Received and email last night that V2 has finally completed my order – 2 months after I paid for it. Too late for V2, I’m afraid – I have already switched to Vapor4Life. I now own a V4L pass-through and manual ecig and have tried about 20 of their flavors as they sent me a dozen free samples with my battery order. I also ordered a couple of juices from them which I have yet to try, but V4L is for sure my go-to company from here on out. I actually feel badly for the customer service people at V2, they must feel pretty beaten up at the end of the day, but I am definitely done with V2.

    ? Their product is lousy too!!! After waiting and waiting, when I finally did get a partial order, I kept it for 3 days. No vapor, and the lousiest tasting cartridges I have tried.

    I placed my order for my V2 cig on January 27 and I received it in the mail yesterday. And this was just with regular shipping, so mine came very fast and everything I ordered was there. So it looks like their service is back on track! I have only tried it twice thus far and I’ve noticed that I definitely get much better vapor from the manual battery, as opposed to the automatic one, so I think I’ll be ordering a second manual battery. The only issue I am having is that I noticed that the charger was not lighting up green, even after multiple hours of charging. I emailed customer service and got an immediate response that this is a firmware issue and that I might have to reset the battery, but that my device is not defective. I won’t know that for sure until I see how long the battery lasts between charges, but I’m fine with the answer. I had a friend who recently ordered an e-cig from another brand and I like what I’ve gotten from V2 a lot better. I am interested in trying more flavors as well. I am hoping this can kick my smoking habit!!

    I take back my earlier statement. On the date I wrote that I placed an order for the portable charging case that I still not have received. I received an e-mail that the order was ready for shipment, and two days later that it was back to “awaiting fulfillment”, when I asked them about it they said they were waiting a shipment that would arrive at the end of February. Still have not heard anything, and have gotten much better service from other brands.

    am enjoying the v2 system very much, great product.

    i miscalculated when i ordered my next supply of cartridges, and when i would run out of what i already had, being the 4th of july holiday extended things.

    would like to know if v2cigs expands their availability to retail tobacco shops for just such an emergency. its not a problem to have to pay a little more for a few cartridges, if it keeps from buying tobacco because i made a timing mistake.

    I have been purchasing from v2 cigs for about 6 months now. The product is great! The amount of vapor produced is incredible. The flavors are strong. The battery life will last all day or more depending on how much you use it (even with the shorty cig). There are only two issues that I have experienced with v2 cigs and their product. The first is more of an annoyance than a real problem. Every so often you will receive a defective cartridge in your order, where there will be little to no vapor and it is very harsh. I have also noticed that certain flavors produce a lot less vapor than others i.e. cherry or chocolate. My main grievance is the shipping time. I have placed 13 orders over the past 6 months and had the same problem with each. The website states “All “In-Stock” orders are shipped the following business day if received by 6pm on the prior business day.” However this is never the case. When I first started purchasing from the company, orders would take almost a week just to ship. After contacting customer service I was informed that they just didn’t have the production ability (people or space) to keep up with the high demand (understandably so). Now that they have a new website, new building, and more people it has gotten better, but still, they have never shipped next business day. I generally contact customer service after each order I place and I am given the same excuse each time. Due to the high volume of orders, they are backed up on shipping and my purchase will likely ship in a few days. I placed an order on Thursday morning 2 weeks ago and it shipped on Monday. After placing another order this Thursday morning (10:31 a.m. est to be exact) I was told by customer service that it will ship next week sometime. I love their product and that is why I keep coming back, but if I find another company with a similar product that can provide more reliable shipping, I will likely switch.

    Thanks for your great review of V2 cigs! When V2 was just getting started we heard there shipping time was pretty slow and the products were taking too long. Over time we’ve been speaking with V2 and they have become a lot better with sending the shipments in a timely manner. We definitely recommend contacting them after an order is placed to make sure it’s in stock and get the correct time for shipping. This is great advice!

    V2 has HORRIBLE shipping times and DO NOT HAVE their product in stock. I placed an order last night (Fri) and contacted customer service this morning (Sat) to confirm my order…at which point I was told they are out of chargers and cannot ship until they come in…MAYBE early this week or MAYBE not. So I told them to cancel my order, and they told me it would take 3-7 business days to get my money back. So basically I’m now forced to wait regardless of whether I use their product or not…and I don’t have the money to order another product right now. So I decided I have no other choice at this point but to sit here and wait for the product to arrive. They did offer me a discount on my order and shipping, but I’m still VERY unhappy about the fact that they are selling a product that they DO NOT have in stock. It’s a shady way to do business…IN MY OPINION…I should have gone with BLU which was my original choice…the only reason I didn’t is because I read bad things about their batteries, but I have a friend who uses BLU and has nothing but great things to say about them. I hope this post helps steer people away from V2, because their product fulfillment SUCKS.

    ok, so after reading so many horrible reviews about v2 from so many different websites – I’m starting to get a little nervous…lol I placed an order for the starter kit w/both v2 Red &vanilla flavors(6mg) on Aug 6th &also payed for faster shipping..& I called customer service to make sure my order was correct & they said yes & it’s getting shipped to me. But I received email today saying because of holidays they are behind & that my order is awaiting shipment, but no confirmation about how long :(this is the 1st time I’ve ever ordered ANYTHING ONLINE.. It was suppose to be 1 of my b-day gifts from my boyfriend. I had the choice of choosing any company I wanted.& it sounds like I might’ve just made a huge mistake. Almost every review I have just spent the last hour reading are all negative. esp about shipping & not receiving correct orders:(but I will let you guys know what happens :)

    I have used V2 for over a month now. This is a great product. I have not had any issues with customer service. It usually take about 3 days from the time I order to receive refills. I have replaced my Marlboro Lights with the Red 12mg and the taste and amount of nicotine is perfect. The battery life is better than expected. I ordered both the automatic and the manual battery. If I did it again I would have ordered both manual batteries. It gives you a bigger draw of the vapor. I would recommend this product to anyone. Good Luck if you are using to quit smoking.

    Received my V2cig traveler kit last week with Red, Vanilla and Coffee carts, all full strength. I’ve tested all the parts now and everything works.

    I was a Marlboro Light or Pall Mall Blue smoker and I find the Red flavor a little harsh, I wonder if going down to 12mg would would soften the flavor or I should try another brand. The Coffee and Vanilla are fine at 18mg, but aren’t what I’d want for my everyday smoke. It would be nice if I could do sampler packs to try a cartridge of everything.

    Over the years I’ve tried DS801s, 501s, easy anywhere, etc. They were either too weak or too messy, and I stuck with analogs. The V2 with the PCC seems to be doing the trick. I was a 3 pack 60 cigs) a day smoker for 32 years, now I’m down to about 2 analog cigs a day and hope to quit completely soon. Thanks V2.

    I have never tried another brand of e cigs so I cannot compare it to anything else. Being a 30 year smoker I thought this would never work boy was I wrong this product works just like they said it would. Customer service is great. I had trouble with one of the batteries and they replaced it within 3 days. I would recommend to order the Ultimate Kit it has everything you will need, The down side is I don’t think you get a whole pack of cigs out of a cartridge probably 3/4 of a pack. That’s all I have in the negative side of this product I would highly recommend this to anyone. One more thing you will never smell like an ashtray again. It’s been 2 weeks with no desire for a regular cig

    I have and have tried Blu, No 7′s, Metro (Nicotek), Cig2o and others (All in either disposable or rechargeable) But I was never quite as happy until I found the V2′s.

    The batteries did not last long on the others, some that had a vanilla flavour also had a hazlenut or even a coffee taste to them (I just want plain sweet vanilla),

    Many only had red or menthol, some did not have vanilla in different grades of nicotine (I am trying to gradually step down after spinal surgery a couple weeks ago)

    Everything I have found in the V2′s especially the vanilla flavour (no other flavours added in like some) in different nicotine grades, along with different accessories I want to try is what sold me and will keep me coming back.

    I purchased a metal case (which I want to keep) But I really keep eyeing a softcase (would work better for my purse) And another standard battery so I do not have to wait when one battery wears out. I am considering the V2 Express Kit but I only wish it came with vanilla.

    So many choices, so many great ways. I will definitely spread the word and hope one day to purchase some more accessories when I refill on more cartridges.

    I have been using V2 for a year and a half. Having gone from a 3 pack per day smoker, I haven’t had even one puff off of an analog since I started vaping. I love it!! Never thought I could kick that nasty habit.

    No problems with V2 at all. Customer service is always friendly and helpful. Product is good and they stand behind their lifetime warranty on the batteries. I have worn out a few of them during this time.

    Buyer beware. I just purchased V2 Red 18 cartridges and juice, batch # VSAV, and it they contained the wrong flavor. V2 customer service refused to exchange any packages that were opened. I explained to them that I had to open the package to find out they made a manufacturing error. They still refused and said there was no warranty on juice but would make a one time exception for the unopened packs. When I continued to request a refund due to thier error they refused to answer anymore of my e-mails. The test reports they have on-line for this batch states everything was fine. I lost my trust in V2 and have gone to another company.
